The Rooftop & Winter Schedule: Our rooftop is the ultimate city escape. As we move into the winter season (starting the first week of May), the roof will be open exclusively on Fridays and Saturdays from 3 PM. Warm up with a drink under the stars before heading inside to the jungle!

Walk-ins are always welcome on the ground floor and the rooftop. However, if you want a guaranteed table for lunch, dinner, or a group session on the balcony, book via our website. For groups of 20+, email us at  book@thecarlton.com.au

Dress for the occasion! We’re all about that maximalist aesthetic, so while neat casual is the rule, feel free to show off. Tidy denim and sneakers are fine, but keep the singlets, thongs, and gym wear for your morning workout. After 9 PM on weekends, the lights go down and the style goes up—no sports jerseys or team wear past the velvet ropes, please.

Yes, a service elevator is available for those that may require it. Please speak to a staff member upon arrival and its usage can be arranged by management. 

Given our location at 193 Bourke Street, we are incredibly accessible. Any tram running along Bourke Street or Swanston Street will drop you within a block of the venue. If you're planning on exploring our cocktail list, the tram or a rideshare is definitely the way to go!

We keep the mid-week hustle affordable with these classics:

• Tuesday: $15 Taco Tuesday (Pulled pork, ale battered fish, or crispy enoki mushroom – choose 3).

• Wednesday:$25 Steak Night (250g Porterhouse, chips, salad & sauce).

• Thursday:$22 Parma Night (The Carlton classic).

• Friday:$20 Burger Night (Choose from our signature beef or veggie burger).

Absolutely. We’ve moved well beyond "just a salad." Our menu features high-quality Vegan and Gluten-Free pub fare. Check the symbols on the menu or ask the crew behind the bar.

It’s our tropical oasis three stories up. It has its own bar, its own vibe, and plenty of heaters for when the Melbourne weather turns. It’s open from 3pm daily until late.

The jungle comes alive with DJs every Wednesday to Saturday night from 7pm. Expect a mix of house, disco, and party floor-fillers. Entry is always free, get in early to beat the queue.

Little explorers are welcome for a meal with their parents before 8pm. After that, the venue is strictly 18+.
