Good Days Bad Days is a collective of art makers from all creative streams coming
together to be an inspiring environment for artists to ask for help or to offer help.
Stumbling on a roadblock as a creative is tricky. Asking questions is trickier. We’ve created a monthly event in collaboration with The Carlton Club featuring talks by current industry professionals, an open mic style format to present your music demo, spoken word, fashion, graphic design project to a room of peers who can then offer advice, critique, support ending in a little mingle and networking.
Arlo Picasso Enemark (Xelon/Noisehive)
Arlo has worked in digital music distribution for around 8 years, establishing himself as an authority in the ever-changing music environment. His clients range from long-running labels to indie artists getting their first tracks out.
Arlo has shared his insights as a Guest Speaker at BIGSOUND, EMC, Youtube’s VIDCON & Face The Music as well as presenting at various music colleges and institutes. He’ll be sharing some insight into releasing music in the modern era.
Emily Ulman (ARTIST/BOOKER)
Emily Ulman has over 15 years, experience in the music industry primarily as a venue booker but also in marketing, publicity, tour and band management.
She is currently the venue booker at The Gasometer Hotel and has, in the past, booked The Toff in Town, The Prince of Wales Hotel, Boney, The Kelvin Club and The Post Office Hotel.
She has also been invited to participate, moderate and facilitate music industry panels, workshops and events both locally and nationally, A musician who has released three studio albums as well as toured extensively with countless artists including Beth Orton, Paul Kelly, M Ward, Neko Case to mention only a few, and played numerous festivals including Laneway Festival, Boogie Festival (twice) and Dark MoFo and continues to write and play shows.
